2022 Young Printmaker Award
Young Printmaker Award recipients have an opportunity to exhibit a new print three years after receiving the Award. The CWAJ Young Printmaker Award is in its 20th year and many of the past recipients are flourishing in the printmaking world, a testimony to the importance of this award to inspire young artists.
2022年度ヤング・プリントメーカー賞受
受賞者には賞金に加えて、その年のCWAJ現代版画展で受賞作品を展示し、さらに３年後の版画展でも新作を発表する機会が与えられます。本賞は2024年で20年目を迎えました。これまでの受賞者の多くが、新進版画家として着実に歩を進めています。
NAGANUMA Sho • 小林 幹太
The press I purchased with my prize money has been installed in my home, allowing me to work on my creations without being restricted by time or location. This environment suits my style of working while confronting my own thoughts and senses. Currently, I am interested in incorporating new techniques and perspectives into my work based on the intaglio technique, and I am creating collage works that combine intaglio matières and drawing-like elements, without being restricted by the boundaries of printmaking. In the future, I would like to continue to explore the possibilities of copperplate prints, deepening the techniques and expressions while cherishing the world I want to depict, and formulating my own stories and perspectives, aiming to create works that quietly speak to the viewer.
賞金で購入したプレス機を自宅に導入したことで、時間や場 所に縛られず、制作に取り組むことができるようになりました。 この環境は、自分の思考や感覚と向き合いながら制作を進 めていく自分のスタイルに合っており、大学卒業後も、継続的 に作品を生み出すことができています。現在は、銅版画の技 法をベースに、新たな手法や視点を取り入れることに関心を 持っており、銅版画のマチエールやドローイング的要素を組 み合わせたコラージュ作品など、版画という枠にとらわれず 制作を進めています。今後も、自分が描きたい世界観を大切 に、銅版画の可能性を探りながら、技法や表現を深め、自分 なりの物語や視点を形にして、見る人に静かに語りかけるよう な作品を目指していきたいです。
